Nous helps businesses reduce employee financial stress by managing household bills, and utilising AI to negotiate on their household bills, saving them hundreds on energy, mobile, and broadband.

Having secured an £8M seed round, Nous wanted to start building it’s B2B sales function and see if there was demand.

•Nous’ team did not have a background in B2B SaaS sales, rather scaling high growth B2C offerings (which is the core of their business today).

•The team was running out of opportunities within their close network, and hadn’t validated the product with non-incentivized prospects.

•No cold outreach or strategy and wanted to start booking outbound pilots and revenue to validate the B2B value proposition (or kill it).

Approach

•Build SMB and Mid Market outbound strategy for UK.

•Implement correct email infrastructure and multi-domain set up to ensure prospect at least 2000 contacts per week.

•Utilise a content led, outbound strategy for LinkedIn.

•Build version 1.0 of the outbound playbook and teach the team how to bring these processes in-house so they can scale their internal team.

Outcomes


•Over 60 opportunities created.

•8-10 meetings per week consistently.

•Team trained on latest cold outreach methodologies and copy.

•Validated B2B value proposition in preparation for next funding round.
